Charlotte was raised in Belleville, Ontario and has strong roots in Hastings County.

Charlotte earned an LL.B. (Honours) from the Faculty of Law at the University of Kent in the United Kingdom, a Master of Laws at Osgoode Hall Law School and completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree at Wilfrid Laurier University where she majored in Geography. She was certified by the National Committee on Accreditation of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada in 2015.

Charlotte is an associate lawyer practising in the areas of family law and civil litigation.

In her spare time, Charlotte is active both as a player and volunteer member of the Bay of Quinte Women's Soccer League. Charlotte is an avid outdoorswoman and enjoys spending time at her woodlot near Tweed, Ontario. She is a member of the Quinte Woodlot Association and Belleville Agricultural Society.
